JOHOR BARU: Johor Barisan Nasional (BN) will announce its 82 candidates for the Parliamentary and state seats tomorrow.
Johor BN secretary Datuk Md Jais Sarday said an event to announce the candidates for the 14th General Election will be held at the state Umno headquarters here at 10am, he said in a brief statement.
It is expected that several names will be dropped for both Parliamentary and state seats while a number of new faces will be named as candidates.
There are 26 Parliamentary and 56 state seats in Johor and in the last general election, BN won 21 Parliamentary seats (now 20) and 38 (now 37) state seats.
