Sabah PKR to contest 6 parliamentary and 9 state seats

PENAMPANG: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) will be contesting in six parliamentary and nine state seats in Sabah.

Eight of the candidates are new faces. Three contesting for parliamentary seats are Jonathan Yasin (Ranau), Chrisnadia Sinar (Tuaran) and Awang Husaini Sahari (Putatan).

Those standing for election in state seats are Kenny Chua Teck Ho (Inanam), Chong Peck Hing (Karanaan), Sazalye Donol (Matunggong), Dausil Kundayong (Tamparuli) and Dikin Musah (Kuala Penyu).

Sabah PKR chairman Christina Liew said the party would also field candidates in the parliamentary constituencies of Beaufort, Tawau and Pensiangan, and the state seats of Inanam, Api-Api, Tempasuk, Kadamaian and Moyog.

“As for the Moyog state constituency, the candidate will be announced at the PKR office here this Friday.

“Incumbent Inanam assemblyman Dr Roland Chia has decided not to contest this time,” she said, adding that she would be defending the Api-Api state and Tawau parliamentary seats.
