KUALA LUMPUR: Pandelela Rinong and Cheong Jun Hoong continued their poor form in the women’s 10m platform individual when both failed to finish on the podium in the Montreal leg of the World Series on Saturday.
Pandelela recorded a five-dive 343.15 total for fourth position, two rungs above reigning world champion Cheong Jun Hoong, who had poor third and fourth dives, with 298.70 points.
China’s Ren Qian won the gold medal with a 395.85 series, ahead of teammate and silver medallist Si Yajie (377.65) while Canada’s Meaghan Benfeito finished third on 354.65.
The divers will head to Kazan next weekend for the final leg of the World Series.
