Musa Aman denies Warisan's allegation on TAED being sold to China

PENAMPANG: Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman has slammed Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) vice president Junz Wong for allegedly accusing him of selling off the Tanjung Aru Eco Development (TAED) to China.

In addressing thousands of people, Musa said he would sue the Warisan’s Tanjung Aru state candidate for spreading false accusation.

“He has lied. What did I steal? TAED is wholly owned by the state government. This is their (opposition) tactic. They tell lies and mislead the people,” he said at a gathering with BN leaders and candidates at the Hongkod Koisaan Hall here, today.

Also present was Prime Minister and BN chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Junz, in a press conference earlier today, had claimed to have received a letter concerning the 339ha (840 acres) of Tanjung Aru land linking to a loan from China government through the Finance Ministry as a gurantor.

He had said it seemed that the Malaysian government, supported by Sabah government, has agreed to use the land TAED, which valued at RM3.6 billion, as collateral for hybrid term loan from China government.
