KUALA TERENGGANU: PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said the party’s cooperation with UMNO would continue if it brought more good for Islam and the Malays.
He said there had yet to be an official pact between PAS and UMNO thus far, but anything could happen in politics as “we do not know what is going to happen in future”.
“Anything that is good, PAS will cooperate with UMNO, but for anything not good, PAS will never work together with UMNO,” he said when met by reporters after the state-level Maal Hijrah celebration here today.
PAS is seen working with UMNO, including during the recent state by-elections in Selangor. - Bernama
