JOHOR BARU: PKR deputy president candidate Rafizi Ramli should produce evidence regarding his claim that the party election at the Labis division was tainted.
Johor PKR deputy chairman Jimmy Puah Wee Tse said if Rafizi had evidence, he should produce it.
“And if indeed there is any element of bias that tainted the result in Labis, then the Central Election Committee (JPP) must take the necessary action.
“This is important to preserve the integrity of JPP as well as the election itself,” said Puah when contacted by NSTP.
It was reported that Rafizi had written to JPP demanding the nullification of the result of the party election at the Labis division on Sunday.
He claimed that the results should be nullified as the voters were manipulated by JPP personnel.
Puah said it was up to JPP to take action as the state PKR did not have any power on the matter.
