Rozan Azen apologises to Prabakaran

KUALA LUMPUR: Batu PKR vice-chief Rozan Azen Mat Rasip today offered his apology to Batu MP P. Prabakaran following his recent resignation announcement.

“I would like to apologise to my employer Batu MP P. Prabakaran. My resignation announcement was made in hurry, hence causing inconvenience and other implications.

“I also would like to retract my resignation as secretary to Prabakaran as announced on Saturday, Dec 22,” he said in a statement today.

Rozan Azen said he decided to retract his resignation after taking into consideration appeals by the public, particularly those from Batu constituency.

“Many of them want me to continue serving Batu constituency in the position I have held since January 2010 to date, under two consecutive MPs,” he said, adding that he had met Batu PKR division chief Tian Chua and few others on the matter.

Rozan Azen has also extended his apology to the public, particularly voters in Batu constituency, if the spat between him and Prabakaran had caused inconvenience to them.

Earlier today, Tian Chua issued a 24-hour ultimatum to Prabakaran and Rozan Azen to retract statements issued following their dispute and apologise to each other.
