Zuraida: No, I'm not joining Bersatu

JOHOR BAHRU: PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin once again refuted rumours that she and PKR Deputy President Datuk Seri Azmin Ali are set to cross over and join Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu).

Zuraida, who is also Housing and Local Government Minister, only laughed when the question was posed to her.

“No. No such thing as Azmin and I joining Bersatu.

“This rumour isn’t new, it’s been going around a few times.

“As far as I’m concerned, we’re all in Pakatan Harapan. There’s no question about that,” she said.

Zuraida was speaking to the media after officiating the Family Healthcare Festival at Plaza Sentosa here today.

Rumours that she and Azmin, who is also Economic Affairs Minister, were about to join Bersatu came up again after six former Umno members were accepted into Bersatu last Tuesday.

Zuraida had to make a similar denial in December last year after rumours claimed that she, Azmin and 20 other PKR parliamentarians, were set to leave PKR and join Bersatu.
