Fahmi: 'No divisive split in PKR'

KUALA LUMPUR: There will be no divisive split in PKR, said its party communications director Fahmi Fadzil.

He said those who take the line that the Pakatan Harapan component members would end up divided were from the media.

“It’s a perception that it may happen.

“I would like stress that it (PKR) is unlikely to be split or the party would be divided into two factions as was claimed,” said the Lembah Pantai MP.

He said the meeting between party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his deputy Datuk Mohamed Azmin Ali on Wednesday shows that the party was not only strong but also remained united.

Fahmi said the meeting between the party’s No.1 and 2 also showed that the two PKR leaders not only worked together but also focused on current issues.

"Issues and problems faced by the people will be raised at the party's congress this weekend," he said at Parliament Lobby today.
