Hasbie Muda retains Amanah Youth chief post

KUALA LUMPUR: The Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) has re-elected Hasbie Muda as the Youth chief position for the second term.

The speaker annonunced that the member of Dewan Negara has won 387 votes, which is 19 more than Selangor Amanah Youth chief and Batu Tiga assemblyman, Danial Al-Rashid Al Haron Aminar Rashid, who garnered 368 votes.

A total of 572 representatives casted their ballots to decide a fresh Amanah National Committee lineup consisting of 27 members during the party's Youth national convention at Bangsar South tonight.

Coming second in the vote tally, Danial Al-Rashid will become the deputy Youth chief for the Pakatan Harapan (PH) component party.

In his speech after retaining the post, Hasbie pledged that Amanah Youth will continue to support the Unity Government and do his best to be the voice of its members at central level.

Hasbie also expressed his gratitude towards all members of Amanah Youth for continuing to support him in helming the party's wing.

Meanwhile, Batu division Amanah Youth chief Mohd Faris Ariffin will be the party first vice chief, followed by Mohd Ammar Atan as the second vice chief and Kelantan Youth chief Mohd Zulhazmi Hassan became the third vice chief.

The National Amanah Convention will also see another internal election next week starting from Dec 22 until Dec 24.
