KUALA LUMPUR: Kinrara assemblyman Ng Sze Han will lead Selangor Pakatan Harapan (PH) as its election director in the Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB) by-election that has been set for May 11.
In a statement, Selangor PH secretary Dr Mohd Khairuddin Othman said Ng would be assisted by himself, Puchong member of parliament (MP) Yeo Bee Yin and Shah Alam MP Azli Yusof.
"This team will coordinate activities and campaigns to be planned by PH Selangor, and prepare and coordinate tasks related to the by-election campaigns between coalition parties.
"Furthermore, this team will establish key committees that will be ready to operate officially starting from nomination day on April 27 until polling day on May 11," he said after a meeting of the PH leadership today.
He said PH Selangor would also organise a candidate announcement ceremony prior to nomination day after the candidate has been finalised.
The Election Commission (EC) has fixed May 11 for the by-election following the death of its three-term assemblywoman Lee Kee Hiong from the DAP.
