Why must one re-check temperature, re-register at every outlet?

LETTERS: This thought occurred to me whenever I go to MidValley Megamall or 1Utama concerning certain safety precautions.

At those shopping malls, there are staff and security personnel at the entrance to take registration and temperature reading of visitors.

Everybody knows this is due to Covid-19 pandemic and adherence to the steps or guidelines in line with government tracking requirements. Speaking of these kinds of safety procedures, I do not have a problem with them.

However, what puzzles me is why almost every store within the shopping complex needs to take registration and temperature scanning once again.

Is there a rationale for us to re-take, re-register and re-scan visitors temperature when they've already given the check-up and permitted to enter?

Can someone explain this? Isn't the initial registration and temperature scanning at the entrance of shopping mall sufficient?

Or, this is recommended by the health authorities or experts as it is insufficient to only be checked once when entering malls?
