LETTERS: The Covid-19 situation in the country has worsened this year compared to 2020, with more cases and deaths recorded.
The government had actually done a reasonable job in managing the then unknown but ravaging worldwide pandemic.
However, the virus itself has mutated, hence posing a great threat to the world's population.
Going forward, I would be concerned about the current Covid-19 virus's fast evolving nature in terms of its variants.
Nevertheless, it is our hope that we can reach herd immunity by the end of the year. Other matters like the reconvening of Parliament is of secondary importance.
May God give our many leaders the wisdom to do the right thing always.
