Bandar Enstek development will complement MVV: TH Properties

NILAI: TH Properties Sdn Bhd – master developer of Bandar Enstek in Negri Sembilan – will ensure that all its future developments will complement the Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) project.

TH Properties chairman Datuk Azizan Abd Rahman said the property group will plan its future projects in such a way as to avoid overlaps with MVV to avoid wastage of resources and funds, as well as to ensure uniform growth.

"Bandar Enstek is part of the MVV… which is the bigger master developer of the region," Azizan told reporters here after a groundbreaking ceremony for the township's first mosque.

The event was officiated by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

Last week, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak chaired the first steering committee meeting on the MVV – a new 100,000ha economic zone stretching from Port Dickson to Nilai, Negri Sembilan, and encompassing residential, commercial and industrial clusters.

The MVV is expected to attract almost RM300 billion worth of investments and create an estimated 1.3 million job opportunities.

Bandar Enstek, the first phase of which was launched in 2002 and measures 2,072ha, is 50 per cent developed, with a total population of 11,500 residents.

"The remaining 50 per cent of Bandar Enstek's landbank will be gradually developed over the next 10 to 15 years, and we will make sure that it will not overlap with the MMV," said Azizan.

Meanwhile, TH Properties, which is a wholly-owned property arm of Lembaga Tabung Haji, contributed RM3.2 million for the development of the Bandar Enstek mosque, which will accommodate 1,000 worshippers when it is fully completed in 18 months’ time.
