ECO Botanic, a classy township development in Iskandar Puteri, Johor by Eco World Development Group Bhd, will enjoy better facilities with the opening of Eco Boulevard last month.
Eco Boulevard comprises 200 units of British colonial-style three-storey shop offices and is fully sold.
The lifestyle shop-offices are designed with outdoor retail spaces and first-floor balconies for unique alfresco experiences.
Owners received their keys in February.
Datuk Chang Khim Wah, president and chief executive officer of Eco World, said Eco Boulevard will serve the first batch of residents to Eco Botanic.
“We are very excited to have our commercial component up and running as we have already welcomed our first batch of residents to Eco Botanic end of last year.
“Now, they will be able to enjoy a wide selection of shops that’s in the vicinity from where they live. We can definitely see the Eco Botanic township coming to life with this addition.”
Eco Botanic is situated on a 131.5 ha tract next to EduCity.
The first phase consists of 624 units of cluster and semi-detached houses, which were handed over in October this year.
Another luxury housing project, Eco Nest, will be completed in Eco Botanic by year-end.
Eco Nest offers 472 units in various built-ups starting from 582 sq ft and priced from RM550,000 as well as duplex units (1,238 sq ft) with selling prices from RM1.069 million onwards.
Eco Botanic also consists of other components such as Eco Galleria — the high street mall with 645 units of shops scheduled for completion in 2020.
The developer has reserved 11.28 acres of land for future commercial development.
Meanwhile, Chang said Eco Boulevard’s strategic location makes it a suitable place to set up the group’s new Eco Botanic sales gallery.
“Eco Boulevard is served by world-class infrastructure. It is connected to the major highways, making it highly accessible.
“Its easy accessibility to and from Singapore also expands the catchment area to the island state and we are able to attract foreign buyers at the same time,” he said.
