MyRumah Property Showcase: NSTP committed to supporting Kedah property sector growth

ALOR STAR: The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd (NSTP) is committed to supporting the growth of Kedah's property sector and its aim of fulfilling the state government's 'one family-one home' aspiration.

NSTP chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Jalil Hamid said the Kedah property market sector outlook is upbeat following the completion of the Ipoh-Padang Besar electrified double track project.

Jalil said the advanced Electric Train Service ( ETS) and commuter services have enabled people to work and live across the states in the northern region.

"The enhanced transportation system such as ETS and commuter services act as a catalyst for property sector growth in southern Kedah up to Alor Star.

"We are looking at an increasing trend of people who are working in Penang looking for affordable homes in Sungai Petani and even Alor Star.

"The NSTP MyRumah Property Showcase is a manifestation of our commitment to connecting potential buyers and the developers to tap into the growing property market in Kedah," Jalil said in his welcoming speech at the Kedah-leg showcase launch ceremony today.
