Bedroom therapy: 8 indoor plants for better sleep

THE most important room in your life is bedroom. Well, at least it is for many people.

The bedroom allows you to take a quick nap and sleep peacefully during the day or night with no disturbance from the rest of the people living in the house.

Your bedroom is also important as it affects your ability to be powerful, healthy, happy and wealthy. Your body needs to renew itself, re-energise and reconnect with yourself.

If your sleep is disturbed or you feel restless just being in your room, then soon it can affect your health, and the power of doing things and being happy. This could ruin your wealth creation.

The first thing that you need to do is to remove everything in the room that negatively affects your mood. For power position, place your bed where you can see the door and the entire room.

Once you are done doing that, place helpful indoor plants, either potted plants or fresh flowers to liven up the room.

Research suggests that plants help you sleep better, suppress airborne germs, release water vapour and remove indoor air pollutants and chemicals.

Highly recommended is rosemary, jasmine, lavender, snake plant, aloe vera, gardenia, peace lily and gerbera daisy.

These plants not only help you sleep better, but also have the ability to lower your blood pressure and soothe your senses.

Rosemary, jasmine and lavender promote sleep by reducing stress and lifting mood while snake plant, aloe vera, gardenia and peace lily help purify the air. Gerbera daisy brings joy to any environment.
