Sunway Velocity TWO to boost community growth

SUNWAY Velocity TWO by Sunway Property will continue to cater to the needs of a rapidly-growing neighbourhood in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

The 3.2ha project in Jalan Peel, comprising four residential towers and two commercial buildings, has a gross development value of RM2 billion.

Sunway Property acquired the land directly opposite its iconic Sunway Velocity project early last year.

Sunway Bhd property development division managing director Sarena Cheah said by buying an adjoining piece of land to build Sunway Velocity TWO, it would, in many ways, augment sustainable growth for the entire Sunway Velocity community.

Sunway Velocity —a RM4 billion development that is home to Sunway Velocity Mall, Sunway Velocity Hotel, Sunway Velocity Medical Centre, as well as signature retail stores, offices and residences ― has performed strongly since its launch in 2008. It has managed to sell RM1 billion worth of residences and offices.

Sunway Bhd property development division executive director Chong Sau Min said Sunway Velocity TWO would add value to the success of Sunway Velocity.

Launching soon are two 53-storey residential towers (Tower A and Tower B). Chong said the indicative price for residential units was RM527,000 and above. The size of units in Tower A ranges between 59 and 119 sq m, whereas those in Tower B are between 59 and 104 sq m. Some units are dual-key ready, an attractive feature for future residents, said Chong.

He said Sunway Velocity TWO would be connected to Sunway Velocity via a covered elevated link-way for secure and safe access to facilities at the integrated development. The facilities include an infinity pool, karaoke rooms, rooftop deck, herbs garden and a playground in the form of a unique tree house.

“Sunway Velocity TWO will be a Green RE-certified development, which is energy efficient.

“It incorporates motion-sensor lighting and a rainwater harvesting system.

The development is designed to provide a modern and comprehensive lifestyle to its residents,” said Chong.
