Sirocco Hospitality in tie-up with AirAsia BIG

SIROCCO Hospitality Group, the hospitality arm of M101 Holdings Sdn Bhd, has come up with an innovative way to sell its rooms.

The group has formed a partnership with AirAsia BIG to provide Club Sirocco and AirAsia BIG members offers and discounts.

AirAsia BIG will also market Sirocco Hospitality’s hotel chain to more than 24 million BIG members.

Sirocco Hospitality is managing and operating RED by Sirocco, which was launched in July 2017.

RED by Sirocco, located near the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre along the Heritage Row, boasts of 143 hotel rooms.

M101, founded by Datuk Seth Yap Ting Hau, is developing the world’s first Monopoly-themed hotel known as Monopoly Mansion under a licensing agreement with Hasbro and Asia’s first Planet Hollywood Hotel.

Sirocco Hospitality chief executive officer (CEO) Datin Lea Chan said the partnership with AirAsia BIG is a good opportunity to market its services locally and globally.

“Working with AirAsia BIG, we have created an integrated platform whereby our Club Sirocco members will benefit from the generous offers and redeemable rewards. For greater flexibility, partial points and full points redemption are allowed.

“This is a very timely partnership as we start preparing for Visit Malaysia Year 2020. There will be many other exciting promotions along the way,” she said.

AirAsia BIG CEO Spencer Lee said the partnership is an excellent way for the company to promote Malaysia and provide extra hotel offerings for its members.

Lee said BIG members can now earn and redeem points when booking RED by Sirocco, Monopoly Mansion and Planet Hollywood in the future.

“With BIG Points, members can do more than just redeem AirAsia flights. They can earn and pay with BIG Points for bookings on hotels, tours, travel activities, duty-free products, daily deals and many more.”
