Residents and businesses in Seremban 2 are benefiting from IJM Land's LikeS2 mobile app

IJM Land Bhd has been assisting businesses in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan to grow since the state entered Phase 4 a year ago.

The developer launched LikeS2, its first lifestyle-themed mobile application, which provides residents of Seremban 2 with up-to-date information on the township's current developments and helps local businesses market their services to the wider Seremban community.

Datuk Hoo Kim See, senior general manager of IJM Land, said the Covid-19 outbreak has led many businesses throughout the world to lose money and cease down.

"Every country from East to West, every level of community, businesses big and small, none are spared. With businesses now trying to pick up their pace albeit rather slowly with the government's recent announcement that economic sectors can reopen, IJM Land is helping out these businesses by connecting communities with the services that they require at their fingertips," he said in a statement.

He said, the pandemic and all of the Movement Control Orders pushed businesses to close or hampered their ability to thrive as they once did.

According to him, the LikeS2 app enables businesses to get online and provides residents with new options to earn money.

He explained that using LikeS2, businesses in Seremban 2 township may promote and increase their enterprises, products, and services without having to pay any sign-up fees.

Additionally, those who have lost their employment as a result of the pandemic can use LikeS2 to start their own home-based businesses, such as catering, carpooling, child care, and other activities, he said.

LikeS2 also keeps the residents up to date on product launches, events, and community outreach, as well as IJM Land's latest property shout-outs, emergency contact information, food and beverage and other types of business promos.

"With the recent reopen of business sectors and the community more inclined towards online services, we are confident that this mobile app will help businesses around Seremban 2 to reintroduce their services while the community is also able to access up-to-date news within their living area along with new leisure and dining spots, and interesting places," he said.
