The Linc KL will be fully occupied by next year

The Linc KL, located on a 3.67-acre site at the intersection of Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur, will welcome a few more tenants next year, bringing occupancy to 100 per cent.

The nature-inspired, urban lifestyle and community hub, which opened in November 2018, is now 93.4 per cent occupied.

The two-story mall has a net lettable area of 133,089 sq ft. About 30 tenants, including pop-up stalls, have opened there. Among them are Ben's, De.Wan 1958, Bean Brothers, Maruki Ramen, Secawan, Shu Xiang Lou, Passion Fit, The Chrysalis Project, and Hauntu by Breakout.

PPB Properties, the property division of PPB Group Bhd, the listed arm of the Kuok Brothers Sdn Bhd Group, manages the mall.

The Linc provides shoppers with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience amid nature. Its industrial barn house concept was built around six large pre-existing trees, providing fresh air among the surrounding skyscrapers.

The building's design had to account for enough space for the trees to grow while allowing sunlight to stream freely without exposing visitors to the elements.

In addition, the mall incorporates a few green design elements and initiatives. By reducing heat transfer into the interior, the insulated roof helps to reduce energy consumption.

PPB Properties has another mall in Petaling Jaya developed as part of the RM300 million Megah Rise mixed-development project in Taman Megah.

The company launched Megah Rise at the former Ming Tien Food Court site in Taman Megah in March 2018.

The project comprises 228 apartment units and a four-storey retail mall.
