The Ascott Ltd, a lodging business unit of CapitaLand Investment Ltd, has opened Ascott Star KLCC Kuala Lumpur, one of the city's tallest high-end serviced apartments.
The 58-story luxury property, formerly known as Star Residences Tower 3, is located on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.
Alpine Return Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Symphony Life Bhd and United Malayan Land Bhd, developed it.
Ascott Star KLCC is the third residential tower in the Star Development project of the joint venture that consists of the 57-storey Sky Residences Tower 1, the 58-storey Sky Residences Tower 2, and Star Boulevard.
There are 471 units in total in Ascott Star KLCC, ranging from 700 square feet of one-bedroom studios to 2,972 square feet of four-bedroom apartments, with prices starting at RM1.6 million (during the launch).
Alpine Return signed a 10-year contract with Ascott in September 2017 to manage 353 units in Ascott Star KLCC, with the option of an additional 10-year extension.
According to a statement issued today, Ascott will manage only 298 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments.
The units have been expertly designed to provide a stylish and luxurious stay for both business and leisure travellers, it stated.
Members of Ascott's complimentary loyalty programme Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) can take advantage of promotional rates starting at RM360 per night (for a studio executive) until October 31, 2022.
