OIB to launch sustainable government housing project next year

KUALA LUMPUR: Oriental Interest Bhd (OIB) Group will introduce Myra Dahlia, a PPAM (Malaysia Civil Servants Housing Programme) government housing and Rumah Selangorku (RSKU) affordable housing project in Taman Dahlia, Salak Tinggi, Selangor, next year.

With a gross development value of RM141.51 million, the 2.76-acre project will consist of 48 Rumah Selangorku units with a built-up area of 600 square feet and 432 PPAM units with a built-up area of 900 square feet.

With a starting price of RM299,800, the project is anticipated to be completed by November 2027.

OIB's chief marketing officer, Beh Suan Sim, said that Myra Dahlia represents more than just a housing opportunity.

"It's a catalyst for sustainable family development. We recognise the struggles of young couples balancing work and parenthood. This project aims to offer quality living spaces, fostering environments where parents can spend quality time with their children and build lasting memories right at home. This foundation enables families to grow and prosper for years to come," Beh said.

Prioritising residents' safety, the property features gated and guarded entrances.

Safety measures for families with young children include speed bumps, restricted window angles, and carefully designed playgrounds.

"We believe that such facilities will appeal to young professionals and families with young children, especially those with children aged eight years and below."

Other notable developments by OIB include Myra Impian in Nilai and Myra Cove in Cyberjaya. It has delivered more than 29,000 units with a GDV of RM4 billion.
