England win toss, bowl against Bangladesh in final T20

DHAKA: England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bowl in the third Twenty20 international against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Bangladesh won the first two matches to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, the hosts' first series victory against England in any format.

England named the same team that lost to Bangladesh by four wickets in the second T20 at the same ground.

Bangladesh made two changes. They handed a T20I debut to left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam, in place of Nasum Ahmed, and brought in Shamim Hossain for Afif Hossain.

England won the preceding three-match one-day international series 2-1.

The matches are important practice for England on South Asian pitches ahead of the ODI World Cup in India later this year. --AFP
