Neymar tells teammates he will be leaving Barcelona

LONDON: Neymar is moving closer to joining PSG after he was reported to have told his Barcelona teammates about his intention.

The Daily Mail reported that the potential exit of the 25-year-old Brazilian is the most talked about move in world football right now, with PSG willing to pay the astronomical £197 million release-clause.

Neymar is believed to have grown unhappy with his role at the Nou Camp, and is seeking a move to another Champions League club in order to improve his standing and prove himself to be the No 1 player on the planet.

Reports in Spain claim the move is now only a matter of time, with Neymar simply waiting on the Ligue 1 club to trigger his release-clause.

Catalan publication Mundo Deportivo reported: 'Neymar will leave the club as soon as the PSG pays its clause of recession next week.

“This was communicated by the player himself to his closest friends last Thursday, the same day he had the friction with Nelson Semedo during training held at the facilities of Barry University in Miami.”

Neymar's training ground bust-up with new boy Semedo further added fuel to the fire, and is believed to have all but confirmed his exit from the Nou Camp.
