KUALA LUMPUR: Kuantan FA players are free to join other M-League teams when the mid-season transfer window opens on May 14.
The Premier League side were booted out on Saturday following failure to show up for a match and failing to settle their players’ salaries.
Football agent Effendi Jagan Abdullah said players who do not receive salaries as stipulated in their contracts can look for other teams.
“The Kuantan players are still contracted to the team despite being kicked out of the M-League.
“They, however, can ask for an annulment on grounds that the team have not been paying salaries.
“All they need to do is to present a letter to the management and they are free to play for other teams,” he said.
