De Paula fires four goals in KL's win

KUALA LUMPUR: Brazilian striker Guilherme De Paula was unstoppable as he scored four goals for Kuala Lumpur in the 4-1 win over Felcra in a Malaysia Cup Group A match at the KLFA Stadium on Sunday.

The win sees KL move to second in the group behind Terengganu with three points after two matches.

De Paula scored in the sixth, 73rd, 85th and 90th minutes while Nazrul Kamaruzzaman replied for Felcra in the 84th minute.

KL are now under interim coach Yee Fatt Chong following the management’s decision to rest former Timor Leste trainer Fabio Maciel recently.

In Group B, Felda United hammered Police 5-0 at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka.

The Premier League champions scored through Thiago Fernandes (54th, 80th and 89th), Gilberto Fortunato (57th) and captain Shukor Adan (71st).
