Winger Hadin wants to be part of the show

“THAT should have been me on the TV screen.”

Winger Hadin Azman couldn’t but help feeling this after he was previously left out of the national team due to a leg injury.

Hadin last represented Malaysia at the AirMarine Cup in March before the injury sidelined him from the 2022 World Cup first round qualifier playoff against Timor Leste in June.

However, the 25-year-old has fully recovered from the injury, and his fine perf ormanc e for Felda United in the M-League this season has earned him a national call-up for the 2022 World Cup/2023 Asian Cup qualifiers.

Hadin, who is a key player in Felda because of his leadership qualities, has his eyes set on making the final 23-man squad for the qualifiers.

Hadin admitted that he was heartbroken to have been left out of the national team previously, and it hurt him more just to watch his teammates play on TV.

“I really hope to make the final squad this time after what had happened the last time,” he said.
