KUALA LUMPUR: National footballer Syahmi Safari took home the Best Goal in the AFF Suzuki Cup award at the 2019 Asean Football Federation (AFF) Awards.
Held in Hanoi, Vietnam, the award was received by General Secretary of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Stuart Ramalingam.
Apart from that, Syahmi and two other national players; Norshahrul Idlan Talaha and Syamer Kutty Abba were named in the AFF Team of the Year, according to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) in a Facebook update.
