Players must send videos of daily homework to coach

TO make sure that their players train at home, Terengganu FC II have ordered them to send daily videos of their workouts to the coach.

This was the order given to the team following the government’s Movement Control Order (MCO) amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Team officials of Terengganu FC II, who are the current Premier League leaders, are taking this step to ensure that their players will be in good physical condition despite the M-League being put on hold.

Terengganu FC II feel that this is the best method for them after the Malaysian Football League ordered all teams to stop outdoor training nd practise self-quarantine.

Terengganu FC II head coach Roshadi Wahab said yesterday: “The training (at home) should be two hours a day and the players are to send videos to the coaches.

“The main aspect that we stress on in self training is speed and agility.

“They need to train and send the video everyday except on Friday.

“This is ensure that the players’ fitness level is not affected by the MCO.

“I am pleased that all the players are following the instructions well and are submitting their training videos.”

Meanwhile, the suggestion by Perak’s national defender Shahrul Saad to postpone or shorten the Malaysia Cup competition is well received by Roshadi.

“I think it’s good to postpone it until the coronavirus pandemic has fully subsided.”
