KUALA LUMPUR: Herold Goulon's late goal earned Negri Sembilan a 1-1 draw against Terengganu in a Super League match at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium, Kuala Terengganu, on Friday.
After a goalless first half, Ivan Mamut broke the deadlock in the 66th minute to put the Turtles ahead. It was his fifth goal in 14 Super League games.
However, centreback Goulon earned Negri a precious point with a goal in the 89th minute.
Terengganu are sixth in the standings with 26 points, while Negri are ninth with 21 points.
In Kota Bahru, Kelantan United bounced back from a two-goal deficit to hold Police to a 2-2 draw.
The Cops scored through Nabil Ahmad Latpi in the 47th minute and Uche Agba in the 54th minute.
However, Kelantan United fought back.
Jose Elmer Porteria reduced the deficit in the 56th minute, while
Sharvin Selvakumaran equalised in the 71st minute.
Kelantan United are 12th with eight points, while Police remain eighth with 24 points.
