Biggest game of the season for Selangor and Kedah

KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor goalkeeper Sam Somerville described tomorrow's Super League clash against Kedah at Darul Aman Stadium as "the game of the season".

Both the teams are in a tussle to finish second in the league and claim a ticket to the Asian Champions League 2 (AFC Cup) and the RM1.9 million prize money.

With two games remaining, only two points separate the two rivals, Selangor have 55 points while Kedah have 53.

In their last five meetings, Selangor won three times while Kedah won two.

Selangor coach Tan Cheng Hoe said his men are feeling buoyant after five straight wins.

"It will be a tough and tight match at Darul Aman Stadium which will be packed by Kedah fans. Our team must be mentally prepared."
