'Son Heung Min is only human'

DOHA: South Korea's Son Heung Min is the biggest superstar at the Asian Cup, but so far he has been rather quiet in the competition.

And Harimau Malaya hope the Tottenham captain will remain quiet when the world No. 130 face No. 23 South Korea in their final Group E match at Al Janoub Stadium on Thursday.

Winger Safawi Rasid is not worried about Heung Min.

After all, he scored a brace in the 2-1 win over Heung Min's side at the 2018 Indonesia Asian Games though it was an Under-23 tournament.

However, it was an Under-23 tournament at the Asian Games.

"Everyone knows Heung Min is a good player. We have talked about me on how he plays.

"However, he is only human.

"He can take on defenders but will be difficult for him to take on two or three players at one go," said Safawi, who has had only 20 minutes of action in the Asian Cup.

"It doesn't matter who plays. We just have to be prepared and wait for our turn.

"However, to play against a World Cup team, that's where we get to enjoy football, and hopefully, I will get a chance.

"While we won't advance to the second round, our focus is to enjoy and showcase our talent in this game

"However, the focus is still to get a good result."
