KUALA LUMPUR: Argentine Jalil Elias, valued at €3 million (RM15.2 million), is officially the most expensive signing in M-League history.
The defensive midfielder, who has played for Argentina's top clubs, including Newell's Old Boys and San Lorenzo, was unveiled today by Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) as their new signing on social media.
JDT believes the 28-year-old will bring more balance to the 10-time Super League champions, who hope to put up a stronger showing in the Asian Champions League.
