Selangor are in the ACL 2 because of JDT, says club owner Tunku Mahkota Ismail

KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) owner Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has taken aim at Selangor's qualification for the Asian Champions League 2 (ACL 2).

In an Instagram post, Tunku Mahkota Ismail pointed out that JDT haven't lost to the Red Giants in the last eight years.

He mentioned the last time JDT lost to Selangor was during Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal's time.

"4-0 at home, 4-0 away, 2-0 at home. The total aggregate is 10-0. The last time JDT lost to Selangor was during Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal's time."

"Since crony FC took over, JDT have maintained an unbeaten record against the new Selangor for the past eight years, despite the latter receiving RM46 million a year from the government," Tunku Mahkota Ismail shared this on Instagram.

He also attributed Selangor's ACL 2 qualification this year to JDT's points contribution in the AFC Member Association (MA) rankings.

"Playing in ACL 2 with JDT's points contribution. And still hallucinating and not accepting reality."

"Well done to all the (former) Selangor FA presidents who have been successful and created history for the club."
