KUALA LUMPUR: National footballer Akhyar Rashid is alleged to be a victim of a robbery in Terengganu.
It is understood that Akhyar, who joined Terengganu FC this season, suffered injuries in the incident just a day after celebrating his 25th birthday.
Based on social media videos, including on Facebook and WhatsApp, the Kedah-born player is said to have received treatment at a medical centre.
Akhyar joined Terengganu in February on loan from Johor Darul Ta'zim.
