Sabah beat Kelantan for first win of the season

KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah produced a spectacular display to beat Kelantan Darul Naim 3-2 for their first win in the Super League at Sultan Muhd IV Stadium, Kota Baru on Friday.

The Rhinos opened scoring in the 25th minute through Gabriel Peres.

Kelantan were awarded a penalty following a VAR review in the 32nd minute.

However, Sabah goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat saved Chadrack Lukombe's spot kick.

But Rezal Zambery Yahya's side were not to be denied as they levelled proceedings through Kim Likwan in the 56th minute.

Sabah regained their lead eight minutes later through Stuart Wilkin before Ramon Macedo made it 3-1 in the 69th minute.

Kelantan pulled one back in the second minute of stoppage time

Sabah have four points from two points.
