RM1.27 million raised for Raja Muda of Selangor Foundation

SERI KEMBANGAN: The Raja Muda Worldwide Holdings Selangor Golf Invitational, held at the Mines Resort and Golf Club on Saturday, raised RM1.27million in donations from 22 parties.

Among those who contributed were Eco World Development Group Berhad, Trans Loyal Development, Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd, Island & Peninsula, Prolintas, AEON and LBS Group.

The total sum will be channeled to the Raja Muda of Selangor Foundation.

Yusli Askandar emerged as the overall champion with 39 points in the ‘stableford’ tournament, which attracted 120 golfers.

Ahmad Fadali Baharuddin won the Medal A category with 39 points, followed by Mohd Takiyuddin Mat Zain (38) and Salim Sain (36).

In the Medal B category, Muhamad Abdul Rahman was named as the winner, followed by Khairul Azam Saroni and Awalluddin Abdul Hamid.

Datuk Jalil Marzuki topped the Medal C category with 37 points, followed by Datuk Setia Mohammed Khusr (36) and Sairollizam Siedin (36).

Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and State Financial Officer Datuk Noordin Sulaiman attended the event.
