Sukree and Durriyah take top honours in first PGM event of the season

KUALA LUMPUR: Sukree Othman won the PGM Perlis Closed Championship on Saturday.

The 2003 Hong Kong Amateur Open winner took home RM34,000 after firing rounds of 71-71-73-67 for a six-under 282 to win by two shots over second-placed Jeremiah Kim Leun Kwang.

Daeng, 17, finished joint-third with Arie Irawan with a four round total of 289.

In the PGM Women’s Championship, Sea Games bronze medallist Nur Durriyah Damian earned RM11,000 after rounds of 74-74-72-68 for 288 while Ainil Johani Bakar took second on 294.
