KUALA LUMPUR: Golf fans can expect an entertaining exhibition of brilliance at the US$3 million Maybank Championship.
The tournament will parade a world-class field at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) from Oct 26- 29.
Among the top LPGA Tour golfers set to play in the tournament are Nelly Korda, Celine Boutier, Brooke Henderson, Jin Young Ko, Min Jee Lee, Ruoning Yin and Allisen Corpuz.
American Korda, 25, an Olympic champion, has won eight LPGA Tour crowns, including the 2021 Women's PGA Championship.
The world No. 3 will be seeking her first tour victory at the Maybank Championship after seven top 10 finishes in 2023.
Among the top regional talents set to play are Singapore's Amanda Tan, Filipino Dottie Ardina and Indonesia's Ida Ayu Indira Melati Putri.
Malaysia's charge will be led by Kelly Tan.
