Malaysia outclassed 8-4 by Uruguay

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia finished sixth in the women's Hockey 5s World Cup after losing 8-4 to Uruguay in Muscat, Oman, today.

Scoring for Malaysia were Zati Alyani Zubir (fourth and 19th minute), Nur Zafirah Aziz (sixth) and Nurul Safiqah Mat Isa (25th).

Uruguay's Teresa Viana slammed home half a dozen goals, in the first, eighth, 16th, 23rd, 24th and 25th. Manuela Vilar (third) and Florencia Penalba (20th) were also on target.
