KUALA LUMPUR: Newcomers Pahang Sports Council MSP-PHP-SSNP got off to a flying start by outplaying Mutiara Impian of Penang 5-0 in the women's Malaysia Hockey League in Bertam Hockey Stadium yesterday.
Pahang's Nur Ariana Arisya Ahmad Zaini scored a hattrick (in the 19th, 45th and 47th). Nur Aqilah Suhaimi (14th) and Nur Qashrina Azli (40th) delivered the other goals.
Coach Sabri Mohamad said MSP are preparing for the Malaysia Games in Sarawak in July.
"All my players are 20 and below, and I have a player who is only 13-years-old."
China's Liaoning, who are making their debut, thrashed Kedah 10-0 at the National Hockey Stadium.
