SpeedX Racing Team win pole position

KUALA LUMPUR: SpeedX Racing Team, helmed by first driver Eddie Lew and second driver William Ho, secured pole position yesterday for the SP2 category of the Sepang 1000km Endurance Race (S1K) today.

The SpeedX team of drivers and crew, who have accumulated a total of 25 years of experience on the track, are all geared for a good run.

SpeedX also work with the highly experienced team from Fast Autoworks and TedCo to ensure that their cars are best fitted and calibrated for the race.

"We are very excited for the race as we have worked hard to achieve this pole position.

"Our achievement is due to the capabilities of our team, TedCo and Fast Autoworks, and we are confident about the race," said Lew.

S1K, an endurance race at the Sepang International Circuit for production cars below 1600cc, was previously known as the Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race (MMER).

Over the years, S1K has attracted international entries from Australia and Japan.
