LANGKAWI: Malaysian sailors Nuraisyah Jamil and Norashikin Mohd Sayed bagged the silver medal in the International 470 medal race which saw Singapore won the gold medal while Thailand took bronze.
Nuraisyah, the 2014 Icheon Asia Games silver medalist and her crew Norashikin, lost to Singapore pair Elisa Yukie Yokoyama and Cheryl Teo, which had been leading the points tally in the first nine races.
Thai pair Narisara Satta and Nichapa Waiwai won the medal race held at the National Sailing Centre here today but only setlled for bronze after ending up at the third spot in the total points tally.
