Malaysia Sea Games diving medal winner fails doping test

KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian female diver has failed a doping test conducted during the Kuala Lumpur Sea Games in August.

It is learnt that the diver had won a title where Malaysia achieved a clean sweep of 13 gold medals.

The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) are expected to disclose details of the doping case to the media after their Gold Coast Commonwealth Games selection committee meeting in Kuala Lumpur later today.

"It is a diver. It is best for OCM to disclose the matter," said a reliable source.

Cheong Jun Hoong, Pandelela Rinong, Wendy Ng, Leong Mun Yee, Traisy Vivien Tukiet, Nur Dhabitah Sabri and Jasmine Lai won gold medals in the Sea Games.
