KUALA LUMPUR: Former national diving coach Yang Zhuliang claims he has yet to receive payment from the National Sports Council (NSC) for his achievements under the National Sports Incentive Scheme (Shakam).
"Can I ask something? We have not received our bonus for our success at last year’s World Championships in Budapest where we won a gold and a bronze. It has been a year now," Zhuliang posted on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
Zhuliang, whose contract was not renewed late last year, was referring to the gold won by Cheong Jun Hoong in the 10m platform at the world meet. Jun Hoong also teamed up with Pandelela Rinong for the platform synchronised bronze in the same competition.
