Tickets still available for Malaysia v Myanmar clash at Bukit Jalil

KUALA LUMPUR: Harimau Malaya fans can still watch the national side’s final Group A clash against Myanmar at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil this Saturday.

According to a statement posted on the FA of Malaysia’s (FAM) website, fans can still get tickets for the match as only 30,600 tickets have been sold so far.

With the maximum seating capacity of the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil at 87,411, there are still many tickets that fans can snap up to lend their support to the national side who must beat Myanmar in order to advance to the semi-finals of the AFF Cup.

Therefore, fans who want to get match tickets which are priced at RM20 (Open), RM30 (Grandstand) and RM5 (Children) can do so by purchasing tickets at the special counter that is open at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday) from 10am to 5pm.

The ticket sales counters at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil will be open on Friday from 10am to 5pm, and for fans who are not able to purchase tickets from the ticket counters over the next three days, they can do so on match day on Saturday at the stadium’s ticket counters from 10am onwards.

Tickets can also be purchased online at www.tickethotline.com.my though only for the RM20 (Open) tickets, and the tickets can be redeemed at the ticket redemption counter at the Stadium which will be open from tomorrow (Thursday) onwards until Saturday.

Saturday’s crunch match against Group A leaders Myanmar will be decisive as the outcome of the match will determine if Tan Cheng Hoe’s side are able to remain in competition and advance to the semi-finals.

With six points from three matches, Malaysia are in third place behind Myanmar and Vietnam, and the national side must beat Myanmar to book their ticket for the semi-finals of the competition while hoping that Cambodia are able to hold Vietnam from collecting three points in the other match in order for Harimau Malaya to also finish as group winners.
