KUALA LUMPUR: Nicol David's status as Asia's No 1 officially ended after 15 years on Sunday.
Hong Kong’s Annie Au dethroned the eight-time world champion in the latest PSA Tour women's world ranking list.
Nicol dropped two rungs to World No 12 while Au move up to 11th.
The 35-year-old Malaysian, who has not won a title since March last year, was Asia's No 1 since Dec 2003, taking over from Hong Kong’s Rebecca Chiu.
