Speedy Tigers crowned Sultan Azlan Shah Cup champs for first time

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia finally hoisted the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup when they edged South Korea 3-2 in Ipoh today.

Shello Silverius (15th), Razie Rahim (45th) and Aminuddin Zain (48th) scored for the Speedy Tigers.

Korea's Jang Jung Hyun (16th) and Jeon Byungjin (58th) tried to ignite a fightback but failed.

Incepted in 1983, Malaysia had finished runners-up five times.
