KUALA LUMPUR: Artistic gymnast Sharul Aimy has four chances to qualify for the Paris Olympics - via the World Cup Series next year.
In the World Cup series, Sharul will compete in Egypt (Feb 15-18), Germany (Feb 22-25), Azerbaijan (March 7-10) and Qatar (April 17-20)
"If I win a medal in one of the four World Cups, I'll qualify for Paris," he said.
Sharul, 22, said for now there is no competition for him till the end of the year except for training.
Sharul, who has to overcome injuries to win a bronze at the Hangzhou Asian Games in September, said he hopes to be fully fit next year.
